Tailwheel endorsement training

A tailwheel endorsement is easy to obtain and allows the pilot to operate tailwheel aircraft (versus tricycle gear) of many types. Currently, Flight Source, uses a 1971 8KCAB Decathalon for tailwheel training. Typically this training takes about 10-15 hours with an instructor to complete and requires no FAA written test or checkride. The cost is approximately $1,725.00 (15 hours dual instruction @ $115/hr).
